FP - FINISH 4K GLOSS WB URETHANE

FP-Finish 4K is a professional-grade, single-component water-based polyurethane designed to provide a clear, durable protective finish over properly prepared concrete, compatible epoxy systems and wood substrates. Its low-odor, easy-to-use formula requires no Part A/Part B mixing and dries to a non-yellowing finish with excellent abrasion resistance, mechanical strength and chemical resistance.

Available in Gloss, Satin and Matte finishes, FP-Finish 4K is ideal for interior commercial, institutional and residential floors exposed to pedestrian traffic and routine wear. It may be used as a protective clear coat over decorative flakes, quartz, aggregates and other compatible Florida Polymer coating systems.

Application and Cure Information

Shake the container thoroughly, mechanically mix for approximately two minutes, reseal and allow the material to rest for 8–10 minutes before application. Apply uniformly using a 1/4-inch nap roller and cross-roll the final pass to promote an even, streak-free finish.

• Recoat: 3–4 hours with ventilation; 6–8 hours without ventilation

• Tack-free: approximately 1 hour

• Light foot traffic: 4–6 hours with ventilation; 12–24 hours without ventilation

• Full cure: 7 days

• Recommended application conditions: below 80% relative humidity with the substrate temperature at least 7°F above the dew point

Recommended Coat Schedule

• Commercial or high-traffic areas: 3 coats

• Residential high-traffic areas: 3 coats

• Restoration or medium-traffic areas: 2 coats

• Light-duty protection: 1–2 coats

Important Limitations

FP-Finish 4K is not recommended for exterior applications, continuously wet areas such as showers or sinks, vehicular traffic or damp/high-moisture substrates. Concrete must be clean, dry, sound and mechanically prepared before application. Test concrete moisture before installation; elevated moisture may require an approved Florida Polymer moisture-vapor barrier.
